Renée Watson is the author of the 2018 Hot Summer Reads title Piecing Me Together. The book tells the story of Jade, who lives in a rough neighborhood and attends an elite private academy, as she works to figure out where she belongs. Hear the author speak about the book for which she received a Newbery honor, as well as her other work.
