Science Cafe: From Embryos to Evolution
Thursday, May 17, 2018
7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Chicken, lizard, mouse, or human—all animals start out as a simple fertilized egg. By the time they are born, they have become the animals we easily recognize.
Explore how animals get their distinctive sizes and shapes during development. Learn how changes within the embryo create diversity. Thomas Sanger is an assistant professor of biology at Loyola University. He will discuss his research and lead an activity.
