The Value of Green Infrastructure

Monday, October 23, 2017
7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Radmacher Meeting Room

The ins and outs of sewer and stormwater management are a major concern. Join us as an engineer from the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District discusses recent innovations to protect our water.

In 1989, Illinois established the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD) to protect Lake Michigan, the source of our drinking water. Green infrastructure supplements our existing setup for managing wet-weather flows to combined sewer systems.
