Have you ever thought about running for office? A panel of local experts discusses how you can be a more engaged participant in our democracy.

Whether you've just started thinking entering local politics, or you're well on the way toward filing campaign documents, there's a wealth of resources and details to consider. Join us for a nonpartisan discussion with a panel of local experts, including East Prairie School District #73 Board Member Atanu Das, Skokie Park District Commissioner Khem Khoeun, and Bushra Amiwala, who is currently a candidate for Cook County Commissioner. They will discuss the ins and outs of deciding to run for public office, training (if any) they've received, and resources they used while campaigning.
