Meet Javaka Steptoe, author and illustrator of the 2017 Caldecott Medal-winning book Radiant Child. Limited to 190 participants. For all ages.

Radiant Child is the illustrated biography of artist Jean-Michel Basquiat. Author/illustrator Javaka Steptoe explores the childhood of the visionary young artist through use of vibrant color and street art-style collage. Steptoe will receive his Caldecott Medal for Radiant Child on June 25. Come hear this award-winning illustrator speak. Books will be available for signing courtesy of The Book Stall.
