Eager to explore a fresh way to express yourself, in fiction or nonfiction? Spark up your writing with an epistolary approach.

Incorporating hands-on exercises, author J. Wynn Rousuck will show how the art of letter writing can help you organize your thoughts, focus and tighten your writing, and capture voice and personality—whether yours or your characters’. She uses this approach in her new novel, Please Write.

J. Wynn Rousuck is the longtime, award-winning theater critic at Baltimore’s NPR affiliate and, before that, at The Baltimore Sun. She has taught writing at the Tony Award-winning Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, Goucher College, and in several programs at Johns Hopkins University. Her short stories have been honored by Creative Loafing of Tampa’s Fiction Contest and Atticus Review’s From Here competition.

Hailed as an Editor’s Pick by BookLife-Publishers Weekly, Please Write is an epistolary novel chronicling the correspondence between two Baltimore dogs and a Cleveland artist. It delivers a distinctive account of coping with heartbreak and loss through the power of imagination and love.

Signed copies of Please Write will be available for purchase from the author.
