Illinois Secretary of State Mobile Drivers Express Unit

Have you been avoiding the long lines at the DMV? Wait no more! The Secretary of State's mobile unit will be at the library. Standard state service fees apply.

Available services include:

  • Driver’s license or state ID card (renewal, replacement, correction). Please note: if your license has a gold star on it, that means that it is a Real ID that must be updated at a DMV office.
  • Vehicle sticker sales (license plate sticker renewal).
  • Organ/tissue donor information and registration.
  • Motor voter registration with driver’s license/ID renewal.

Visit ilsos.gov for fees and required documentation.

Acceptable forms of payment for standard state service fees include personal checks, cashier’s checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards and debit cards. No cash.

No Real ID applications or driver’s tests.
