Event
Monarch Community Science Project
Wednesday, June 29, 2022
3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
South Courtyard
Monarch butterflies play an important role as pollinators, and their populations are in trouble.
Teen volunteers will plant milkweed (which provides food and habitat for monarchs), observe monarch eggs and caterpillars, and talk with library patrons about their observations and how we can all support monarchs. Everyone is welcome to drop by and learn. Students in grades 6-12 who would like to participate should email the teen team.
