Nature Photography for Teens--Workshop Part 2 of 3: Photo Shoot at Emily Oaks Nature Center

Saturday, July 10, 2021
10:00 am - 12:00 pm

In part 2 of this 3-part workshop, we are live and in-person at Emily Oaks Nature Center. Apply the photography fundamentals from session one.

While pursuing nature images through a photo scavenger hunt, take the time to closely observe plants, animals, and water in this lush habitat. Bring your own camera, whether it be a cell phone or a DSLR. We will have a limited number of DSLR cameras that can be borrowed.

Event held weather permitting; July 17 is the alternate date in case of bad weather. Participants must adhere to pandemic safety guidance at all times.

Attendees must register for all three sessions using the registration for the workshop part 1 of 3. Limited to 10 participants in grades 7-12 in the fall.

Session 1 (July 7): Nature Photography Basics. Learn what makes a successful photograph and how to apply that knowledge to the subject of nature.

Session 3 (July 21): Post-processing and online gallery walk. Learn how to make your photographs pop.
