We're discussing the article "With veganism on the rise, is meat cooked?" on the future of veganism by animal rights ethicist and philosopher Peter Singer .
Meat-free diets have never been more popular in United States, and veganism and vegetarianism have become increasingly accepted in mainstream society. Although the reasons for going meat-free continue to grow, billions of animals are still slaughtered every year for human consumption.
