Even though the United States is the most advanced economy in the world, we still use centuries-old numbers to measure trade.
These measures shrink our true economic size and competitiveness while swelling China’s. Bad numbers give rise to bad policies that ultimately kill jobs here and cede market share to China. What other tools can we use to counter China’s unfair trade practices?
