Volunteering at the library is a great way to build your skills and give back to the community. We will work with you to find a volunteer opportunity that meets your needs.

Court Ordered Community Service
Teens who have been ordered to complete at least 10 hours of volunteer service may be able to do them at the library. Teens, age 14 through their senior year of high school, must be enrolled in a Skokie school district. Please call or email to schedule an interview with the volunteer coordinator (required). Persons under the age of 18 need the signature of a parent or guardian to perform service hours at the library.

High school students interested in earning volunteer hours during the school year should contact Laurel Johnson for information or to express interest.
