LGBTQ Jewish Heroes: Film Screening and Service Project

LGBTQ Jews have always been here. Get curious about the contributions of these figures to our shared history.

Learn about LGBTQ+ Jewish pioneers and the events that shaped them, then research a related person or topic that interests you and help us share that knowledge with the community.

We will watch excerpts from Hineini, a 60-minute documentary from 2005.

This event is a partnership with Keshet, an organization working for LGBTQ+ equality in Jewish life.

Bring your own device for researching, or use one of our Chromebooks. Participants will earn service hours. Fill out this contact form to be added to our list of interested teen volunteers and be one of the first to know about volunteer opportunities. For grades 6-12. Register or drop in.
