This summer, we're offering these events specially designed for families with children who are on the autism spectrum or who need sensory-friendly experiences.

Sensory-Friendly Family Movie: Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile

This special sensory screening is designed for families with neurodivergent children and others who may benefit from a less sensory-intense movie experience.
We will keep the lights on and turn the sound down so you can shout, sing, or move about in whatever way is needed to enjoy the film.
In this movie, after moving to New York City, the lives of the Primm family are dramatically changed when they discover a talking crocodile in the bathtub in their new home.
2022 - 107 minutes - Rated PG for mild peril and thematic elements - Animation, Adventure, Comedy
Children younger than 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Music for Milestones: An Experience for Neurodivergent Children and Families
Saturday, July 8, 2023, 3:00 pm
This workshop uses music and sensory play to accomplish a variety of social, emotional, sensory, and communication goals.
This workshop is facilitated by Julliana Castaneda, a board-certified music therapist. Throughout, families will hear familiar music, move to music, and learn about the different instruments and music that can help support the goals.
For kids ages 0-11. Limited to 10 children with no more than 2 accompanying caregivers. Registration required.
