Brahms set this lovely collection of folk songs and love poems for four singers and and piano four hands. They may or may not have been expressing his frustrated love for pianist Clara Schumann.

Whatever the inspiration behind them, you will enjoy these varied songs. Performed by local professionals: soprano Lorelei McDermott, alto Kristi French, tenor Garrett Johannsen, baritone Daniel Robinson, and pianists Kingsley Day and Roger Stanley.
