It's 1950s New Jersey and Primo (Tony Shalhoub) and Secondo (Stanley Tucci) have come from Italy to open an Italian restaurant.

Much to their surprise, they realize they must cater to their customers in order to keep the doors open. The necessary change in tactics is cause for kitchen hi-jinks. Also featuring Minnie Driver, Isabella Rossellini, Liev Schreiber, and Marc Anthony.
