Local author Diana Schmidt will talk about how she researched and wrote her book, Remember for Me.

Diana Tarant Schmidt, a teacher at Old Orchard Junior High School, was tired of being told that everything happens for a reason especially bad things. When her grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease, Diana wrote a novel exploring Alzheimer's in the context of the fight between good and evil. In Remember for Me, the main character battles Alzheimer's in preparation for a fight to defend humanity.
