Bilqis Abdul-Qaadir was the first Muslim woman in NCAA history to play basketball wearing a hijab. Post graduation, she hoped to play professionally in Europe; however, her career came to an abrupt halt after being informed that the International Basketball Federation would enforce a rule that prohibited headgear.

This insightful film provides a glimpse into Bilqis’ life, as she fights the ruling and examines her faith, identity, and dreams. Directed by Tim O'Donnell and Jon Mercer.
