Young Steinway Concert: Miriam Birman, Piano, and Trio Lumina

Our concerts feature talented young classical musicians. Today, hear pianist Miriam Birman and piano trio Trio Lumina.

Miriam Birman, a senior at Bays Yakov High School of Chicago, studies piano with Milana Pavchinskaya, has been awarded numerous medals for piano, and sings in school choirs.

Trio Lumina includes violinist Julia Kim, pianist Samuel Kim, and cellist Caleb Sim. The trio is coached by Soo Lee and Sang Mee Lee and won first place in the chamber music division of the 2023 American Protege International Strings and Piano Competition.

Free tickets will be provided to those present starting at 2:30 pm.
