This concert features the Bach G minor viola da gamba sonata, the Beethoven F major cello and piano sonata, and selected works by Spanish composers.

Marina Hoover is a Grammy nominee. She was founding cellist of the St. Lawrence String Quartet, which rocketed to international status. Marina has performed more than 1,000 concerts in North America, Europe, Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, Brazil, Uruguay, Israel, and Australia.

Sevgi Giles has appeared in venues throughout America and Europe as a recitalist, chamber musician, and orchestral pianist.  She is a devoted teacher and sought-after pedagogue in the Chicago area. In addition to her private studio, she is on the artist faculty of Roosevelt University.
