This historical novel, based on the life of the author Louise Erdrich’s grandfather, traces the experiences of a Chippewa Council night watchman.
In mid-19th-century rural North Dakota, our protagonist is fighting Congress to enforce Native American treaty rights.
This is a hybrid event with the option to participate on Zoom. Limited to 20 in-person participants. If you are interested in participating on Zoom, indicate your interest in the registration form and we will email the Zoom event link after registration has closed.
