Open Communities presents a workshop on homeownership. Prospective homebuyers will gain an understanding of the home purchase process, credit readiness, and how lenders determine financing.

You will learn about loan types, financing products, the closing process, and the overall homebuying process.

Open Communities offers free housing counseling and education services, including landlord-tenant and foreclosure counseling. You will also gain valuable insights into fair housing investigations and enforcement, helping to create more welcoming communities for everyone. Open Communities is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting fair housing practices in the north and northwest suburbs of Chicago through education and community engagement.
