TikTok, the viral video-based social media platform, has strongly influenced popular literature and reading culture in the past few years. Through "BookTok," users share book reviews, recommendations, and entertainment. During this discussion, we'll be sharing our experiences with bookish social media and offering read-alike suggestions for popular titles on BookTok. We'll focus on recommending read alikes by authors of color or from other marginalized backgrounds.
