Young Steinway Concert: Prasad Piano Duo and Samuel Kim, Piano

Our concerts feature talented young classical musicians. Today, hear solo pianist Samuel Kim and duo pianists Sreedevi and Shivshankar Prasad, performing as the Prasad Duo.

Sreedevi and Shivshankar Prasad are seniors at James B. Conant High School in Hoffman Estates. Their piano four-hands duo is coached by Soyoung Kee. The duo won first place with judge's distinction for piano duo in the 2022 American Protege International Piano and Strings Competition.

Samuel Kim, a junior at Libertyville High School, studies piano with Soo Young Lee. He performed as a soloist with the Northeast Illinois University Orchestra as winner of the Chicago Chamber Music Festival Concerto Competition. He is a member of his high school's tennis team.
