An award-winning journalist traces the lesser-known story of five women pilots in the 1920s and '30s.

This month, we are reading and discussing Fly Girls: How Five Daring Women Defied All Odds and Made Aviation History. Keith O'Brien traces the stories of five women, including Amelia Earhart, who successfully fought to compete against men in the high-stakes national air races of the 1920s and 1930s.

This is a hybrid event with the option to participate on Zoom. Limited to 20 in-person participants who must follow the library's pandemic safety guidance.
