This film is a rework of the 1897 tale of Cyrano de Bergerac, with Peter Dinklage taking the lead role.
It is based on the stage musical penned by Dinklage’s wife, playwright Erica Schmidt, and brought to the screen by acclaimed director Joe Wright. It got a well-deserved Oscar nod for Best Costume Design.
