Ways to Reduce Your Plastic Footprint

Sunday, July 24, 2022
2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Cosmos Room

You’ve already stopped using single-use straws and grocery bags. Now what? Each day brings new choices. Is the plastic in your toothbrush avoidable? What about the toothpaste tube?

How much nonrecyclable plastic do you use in a day? Thinking through each of these decisions can feel overwhelming.

Lauren Grodnicki walks through alternatives to some of the single-use plastic that we often come into contact with. She'll also identify some of the difficult-to-recycle plastic that seems unavoidable and offer suggestions about how to deal with it.
