How to Create a Crossword Puzzle, Step by Step: Online Event

Thursday, June 16, 2022
6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Zoom Event

Crossword puzzles are in newspapers and magazines, on apps, and online. Have you ever thought about how they come to be and who actually creates a good (or not so good) puzzle?

Creator Rose Sloan walks us through her own path from enthusiast to mentee to being published in USA Today. She'll show us how a crossword puzzle is made, sharing tips and free resources to try your own hand at this vocabulary-heavy vocation.

Whether you're just curious about what goes into that Sunday crossword, or want to actually become a puzzle pro, this presentation will fill you in.

Limited to 20 participants. You will receive the Zoom link in your confirmation email. If you have questions about this event after registration has closed, email the events team or call the library at 847-673-7774.

Online registration is closed.
