Introduction to Geocaching

Geocaching enthusiast Jim Donovan introduces this popular type of treasure hunting.

Treasure hunters of all ages--from kids to retirees--enjoy exploration with geocaching. Following this workshop, you will be able to go out and find treasure in your neighborhood. Safety tips are included. This event is intended for adults and teens.

Participants are asked to download a free smartphone application, Geocaching, in advance to assist in cache navigation.

Meet outside the east entrance of the library, then explore nearby. Weather permitting, wear comfortable walking shoes. Limited to 20 participants who must follow the library's pandemic safety guidance.
