Let's talk about Hispanic Heritage Month and the words people use to describe themselves and their heritage.

During this in-person, drop-in session, we're talking about the use of the word Latine instead of Latinx, followed by some general history about this observance month, which takes place September 15-October 15 every year. All participants must follow the library's pandemic safety guidance.

Hablemos de Latine y el Mes de la Herencia Hispana. Durante esta sesión en persona (no requiere inscripción), hablaremos acerca del uso de la palabra Latine en vez de Latinx, seguida por un poco de historia general sobre este mes de observancia que se extiende del 15 de septiembre al 15 de octubre anualmente. Todos los participantes tienen que seguir las medidas de seguridad de la biblioteca relacionadas a la pandemia.
