Juneteenth Community Celebration: at Devonshire Park

2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Celebrate Juneteenth, also known as Emancipation Day, with activities and performances for the whole family.
Bring your chairs and blankets to the lawn at Devonshire Park (4422 Greenwood Street).
At 2 pm, enjoy kids activities presented by the Skokie Park District and Skokie Public Library.
At 3 pm, enjoy family entertainment from the Magic of Whosay, Steel Drum Flavor, and S.O.U.L. Creations.
From 3-5 pm, the Skokie Health and Human Services Department will provide a free COVID-19 vaccine clinic. Access information about the clinic, which will offer both Johnson & Johnson and Pfizer vaccines.
Food will be available from Babito's Bites with a preorder. Place your food order online to be picked up at Devonshire Park between 3-5 pm.
The Niles Township Food Pantry Foundation will conduct a toiletry drive; there is particular need for baby diapers and wipes.
The 2021 Skokie Juneteenth community celebration is a collaboration of Skokie United, Skokie Park District, the Village of Skokie, Oakton Community College, Skokie Public Library, Sketchbook Brewing Company, and Niles Township Food Pantry Foundation.
