The Magic of Chemistry: Online Event

Combining different liquids and powders, chemists, engineers, and other people create amazing products.

We’re going to explore the properties of quicksand. Why is it easy to sink into but so difficult to get out of? Limited to 50 participants. Registration closes July 16. We will email the Zoom link and login details after registration has closed.

If you would like to create along with the presenter, it will be helpful to have the following materials on hand:

• Large mixing bowl
• Cornstarch
• Water
• Food coloring (optional)
• Slotted spoon, colander, kitchen sieve, funnel, or other kitchen tools

This program is in collaboration with Cub Scouts of Pathway to Adventure Council.
