Movers--Exploring Wind Energy: Online Event

Wednesday, June 16, 2021
4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

The wind is a powerful source of energy. It can create a gentle breeze or make a powerful hurricane. An airplane couldn’t fly without the wind blowing over and under its wings.

Explore the power of wind and see what you can make fly.

Limited to 50 participants, and registration closes June 11. We will email the Zoom link and login details after registration has closed.

If you would like to create along with the presenter, it will be helpful to have the following materials on hand:

  • 2-3 sheets of paper
  • Scissors
  • Plastic drinking straw
  • Ruler
  • Cellophane tape
  • Pattern (we will include the document to print as an attachment in the email with the Zoom link)

This program is in collaboration with Cub Scouts of Pathway to Adventure Council.

If you have questions about this event after registration has closed, please email the events team or call the library at 847-673-7774.

Online registration is closed.
