Family Cooking Workshop--Baked Macaroni and Cheese: Online Event

Chef Michael teaches cooking skills as we make baked macaroni and cheese. For all ages (we recommend that an adult work with young children).

Registration closes at noon the day before the event. Registrants will receive the Zoom event link in an email after registration has closed.

Required ingredients include:

  • 1.5 pounds of your choice pasta (for example, shells or elbow)

  • 2 pounds shredded sharp cheddar cheese 

  • 1 pounds Swiss or provolone cheese  

  • grated Parmesan cheese  

  • Italian seasoned bread crumbs 

  • 1/2 gallon of whole milk  

  • 1/4 cup flour 

  • 1 stick of butter  

  • 1 onion 

  • 1 head of garlic  

  • 1 head of parsley 

  • ground nutmeg

  • salt & pepper

Required equipment includes:

  • 2 large pots

  • 1 mixing spoon

  • 1 cutting board

  • 1 knife

  • 1/4 cup measuring cup

  • whisk

  • timer

  • colander

  • baking dish
