This month we're reading An Elderly Lady is up to No Good by Helene Tursten, translated by Marlaine DeLargy. This slim collection of five linked short stories is full of dark humor and murder--perfect for the season. Maud, 80 years old, lives alone in her rent-controlled apartment in Gothenburg, Sweden. Although she seems like a mild-mannered, sweet old lady, we strongly suggest you avoid getting too close to her. Reminiscent of Arsenic and Old Lace and My Sister the Serial Killer. The book is available as an ebook and audiobook on OverDrive.
