Understanding Adverse Childhood Experiences: Online Event for Building a Resilient Community
Saturday, October 17, 2020
10:00 am - 11:30 am
Learn how to have a positive impact on one of the most important public health issues today by understanding the effects of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs).
We will also learn what we can do to build resilience in our children, families, and community. This ACE Interface event was developed by Rob Anda, MD, one of the original authors of the Adverse Childhood Experience Test, and Laura Porter, a community development and capacity specialist. This event is being offered in conjunction with the Skokie Resilient Community Collaborative.
