On the Chicago music scene for 40 years, Eric Hochberg plays upright and electric bass across the realms of jazz, folk, rock, and blues.

He has performed or recorded with Pharoah Sanders, Bobby McFerrin, Barbra Streisand, Von Freeman, Terry Callier, Howard Levy, Kurt Elling, Patricia Barber, and many others. He has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show three times, with Barbra Streisand, Josh Groban, and Gloria Estefan.
