Young Steinway Concert: Alexis Boe, Piano, and Anika Veda, Flute

Each Young Steinway concert showcases young people with extraordinary talent and the drive to make great use of that talent.

Pianist Alexis Boe is a junior at New Trier Township High School. She is a merit scholar at the Music Institute of Chicago and a three-time gold medal recipient in the North Shore Music Teachers Association Sonata-Sonatina Festival. Anika Veda, a sophomore at William Fremd High School in Palatine, studies flute with Amano Hideko. She won first place in the 2019 American Protege Musical Talent Competition.
