Talking Books Discussion Group: The Good Neighbor: The Life and Work of Fred Rogers

Wednesday, February 26, 2020
1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
Youth Program Room

In our monthly book discussion for patrons with visual impairments, we're looking at the personal, professional, and artistic life of Fred Rogers.

This month's selection is The Good Neighbor: The Life and Work of Fred Rogers by Maxwell King. Be inspired by the man who was so fiercely devoted to helping children, who created and starred in the television program Mister Rogers' Neighborhood.

Audiobooks are available through the Talking Book and Braille Service of the Illinois State Library. For more information on how to enroll in this service, call our Senior Services line at 847-972-5651. Patrons of all abilities are welcome to participate in the discussion and to read the book in whatever format is best for them.

Online registration is closed.
