Tarot and the Journey to Triumph

Petty Auditorium

Learn about the history and applications of the tarot with professional tarot reader Rebecca Schoenecker.

The tarot cards illuminate one's path, purpose, and personal journey. Many mystical teachings explore the triumph of the spirit over the trials of life, and even beyond into death. Created during the Renaissance, the tarot embodied the blending of classical ideals, mysticism, and Christianity. During this period, "triumph" parades in Rome celebrated the victory of life over death. Similarly, our ability to persist in spite of challenges is reflected in the tarot.

Following a presentation, you will get a chance to explore a tarot card reading together. Registration limited to 30 participants.
