Talking Books Discussion Group: The Paragon Hotel

Wednesday, November 20, 2019
1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
Book Discussion Room

Join us for our monthly book discussion for patrons with visual impairments.

This month's selection is The Paragon Hotel by Lyndsay Faye. It's 1921, and Alice has fled from danger and taken refuge in a hotel in Portland, Oregon. Tensions mount as a child goes missing and the KKK gets involved. Alice must use all her skills and new friends to help.

Audiobooks are available through the Talking Book and Braille Service of the Illinois State Library. For more information on how to enroll in this service, please call the Senior Services line at 847-972-5651. Patrons of all abilities are welcome to participate in the discussion and to read the book in whatever format is best for them.

Online registration is closed.
