Wednesday, July 24, 2019

This collection of humorous and touching essays deals with the challenges and freedoms that come with age, following author Donald Hall's motto, ‘Why should a nonagenarian hold anything back?’

Hall, a U.S. poet laureate, also details his writing life and tales of literary friendships. Patrons of all abilities are welcome to participate in the discussion and to read the book in whatever format is best for them.

Audiobooks are available through the Talking Book and Braille Service of the Illinois State Library. For more information on how to enroll in this service, please call the Senior Services line at 847-972-5651.
