Join us for our monthly book discussion for patrons with visual impairments, and any other patrons who wish to read and discuss this book.
A Piece of the World by Christina Baker Kline tells the story of Christina, a woman living on a remote farm in coastal Maine who is increasingly debilitated by illness. Her life takes a turn when she meets the artist Andrew Wyeth and inspires his famous painting Christina's World.
Patrons of all abilities are welcome to participate in the discussion and to read the book in whatever format is best for them. Print copies are available at the Readers Services Desk. Audiobooks are available through the Talking Book and Braille Service of the Illinois State Library.
