This month's selection is The Woman in the Castle by Jessica Shattuck. Set in the aftermath of World War II in Europe, this novel follows three German widows of men who attempted to resist Hitler. As they come together for survival, the choices they made during and after the war affect their relationships with one another.

Audiobooks are available through the Talking Book and Braille Service of the Illinois State Library. For more information on how to enroll in this service, please call the Senior Services line at 847-972-5651.
