Join us for our monthly book discussion for patrons with visual impairments, and any other patrons who wish to read and discuss this book.

This month's selection is The Woman's Hour: The Great Fight to Win the Vote by Elaine F. Weiss. This book tells the story of the decades-long fight for the right of women to vote. The book also explores the ongoing fight against disenfranchisement from the American political process and the compromises made along the way.

Audiobooks are available through the Talking Book and Braille Service of the Illinois State Library. For more information on how to enroll in this service, please call the Senior Services line at 847-972-5651. Patrons of all abilities are welcome to participate in the discussion and to read the book in whatever format is best for them.
