In addition to being closed for certain holidays, we very occasionally close the library for staff training and development. Two such dates are coming up.

Friday, December 8, we'll conduct safety training and drills in the morning, and the library will open at 1 pm. You may notice first responders in the area, but please don't be alarmed.

Friday, January 12 is our annual staff training day, and the library will be closed all day. 

Both of these sessions are necessary investments in our valuable staff. We are committed to providing a secure environment, and training is an essential part of preparation for potential emergencies. Developing our staff also helps us better serve our community every day.

Our hours are always available on our website. Note also that materials can be returned even when the library is closed using the bookdrops on the south side of the building.
