Business library card

Businesses and nonprofits located in Skokie and members of the Skokie Chamber of Commerce can apply for a free business library card. Use the card to connect to our online business resources from your home or office, reserve our Business & Career Center for working and meeting, and sign up for business and technology classes.

Business and Career Center

The Business and Career Center has WiFi, a SMART board, voice conference and projection equipment for making presentations and conducting meetings. Call the library at 847-673-7774 to arrange training prior to your meeting. 
Please note that due to our upcoming renovation the Business and Career Center will be closed starting December 16, 2019.

Our Small Business Collection has a wide range of books and periodicals. Access ebooks and magazines online for the latest business, financial, and technology information.

Digital Media Lab

The Digital Media Lab has equipment for creating digital videos, music, photography, websites, and more. Learn to use this and other technology with online training. Or, contact our Information Desk to schedule training.

Get counseling from experienced executives and business owners

SCORE counselors can advise businesses and nonprofits on issues related to financing, marketing, and creating business plans. Counselors are at Skokie Public Library weekly. To sign up for a free appointment, choose Skokie as a location on SCORE’s website.
