Other Information

Overdrive Media Console is used to download the films as well as to view them. Windows Media Player is used to view the film on your computer in full screen mode or to transfer it to a variety of devices including Pocket PCs, Portable Media Centers, and devices running Windows Mobile 5.0.

Note that in order to use OverDrive Video titles on a device, the device must play DRM-protected Windows Media content and either support a bit rate of 500kbps or be able to transcode 500kbps files to a supported bit rate. Check the device documentation to determine if your device supports this.

If you are using a Pocket PC, OverDrive Media files must be transferred to a memory card. Be sure you have a memory card with sufficient memory space available, and be sure to specify the memory card during the transfer process.

You may download up to fifteen films on your Library card at a time. The films are checked out to you for a period of one week. You may not return them early. However, once you have viewed them you may delete the actual file from your computer to free up space and allow for more downloads.
